Ignacio N. Peralta, Ph.D.

Biochemist / University of Buenos Aires (UBA)
Specialist in Phytopharmacology

Ignacio combines more than 20 years of experience in Cannabis cultivation and processing with a scientific background specialized in Medicinal Plants. He has developed large-scale agroindustrial crop projects in Colombia, Uruguay and Argentina.

He held the first postdoctoral position in Cannabis sativa L. federally funded by the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).

Since 2016, he has been teaching Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires and carries out Scientific Dissemination of Cannabis and other Medicinal Plants.

Vanina Catalano

Pharmacist / University of Buenos Aires (UBA)
Expert in GMP, Regulatory Affairs and Phytochemistry

Vanina has more than 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and related industries. She started as an Official Inspector of the National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Devices (ANMAT), specializing in Good Manufacturing and Control Practices and Regulatory Affairs, and participated in the drafting of the Herbal Medicines regulations.

She is currently an advisor to the Quality Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires and Coordinator of the Subcommittee on Herbal Medicines of the Argentine Pharmacopoeia and the Mercosur Pharmacopoeia.

She teaches Pharmacognosy and Phytocosmetics at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, where she also conducts research related to the scientific validation and phytochemical characterization of extracts of natural origin.

Lautaro Bracco, Ph.D.

Specialist in Biotechnology

Lautaro has more than 10 years of industrial and academic experience in Natural Product Extraction, Downstream and Upstream Processing, Enzymatic Biocatalysis and Organic Synthesis.

He completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, federally funded by National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), and a Post-doctorate in Biotechnology.

He has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry as Scientific Director of the R&D Laboratory of an international Agro-Pharmaceutical company of Medical Cannabis.

Analía Vazquez, Ph.D.

Agricultural Engineer / University of Buenos Aires (UBA)
Specialist in Biological Sciences

Analía has more than 10 years of experience in experimental agronomic trials, plant nutrition and pest and disease integrated management.

She completed a Ph.D. in Plant biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, federally funded by National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).

Since 2014, she has been researching in the field of plant physiology, particularly in the cultivation of Cannabis and carries out consultancy to agronomic enterprises.

Federico N. Peralta

Commercial Manager

Federico has more than 12 years in the entrepreneurial world, contributing his leadership know-how acquired as an International Elite Athlete and providing Sports Coaching consultancies in Europe.

In Argentina, he developed as an Operational Manager in the gastronomic and textile sector, and as an HR Manager in a Global Tourism Agency.
